Yesterday Otis McDonald passed away after a long illness at the age of 80.

Otis was the plaintiff in the Supreme Court case McDonald vs. Chicago which brought an end to the Chicago handgun ban.

He was a great American fighting for our rights. I had the pleasure of hearing him speak at Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day last year, and shaking his hand.
