Just to let folks here know. I read on the Illinoiscarry.com forum that some instructors who applied for the FCCL on 12/18 have been approved. So the ISP has beat the 90 day deadline on the first licenses.

Hopefully this means that they will get the FCCLs out in a timely manner for those of us who applied in January.

I've read that some instructors received their FCCL licenses on saturday.

I'm hoping they keep things moving along and those of us that applied in early January get them in the next 3 week.

One instructor said that he got his license in the mail even though the ISP website said his application was under review.

gyst2001, Glad to hear you got your FCCL license. My application got in on 1/8 with prints so maybe I'll be getting mine in the mail soon.

I was hoping that the ISP didn't slow down the issuing of licenses once the instructors got theirs.

Anyone else not an instructor got theirs?

5000 initially approved and mailed so many beyond instructors have them in their wallet already.

I read on another forum about someone who applied on 1/9 that got their Illinois FCCL yesterday. That is the day I finished my application, so maybe this week I'll get mine.

The ISP website shows I was approved yesterday. So I expect I'll get it next week. I'm not an instructor. I'm also not rich or well connected or a democrat party member.

Well I got my FCCL yesterday. I carried while shopping at Lowes, Kroger gorocery store, another store and stopped by a few people. Had to disarm before going into an office in an SIU owned building. Carried later after getting home walking the dog.
