the other day the courts struck down chicago's gun permit restriction
rhambo and co, tried to make the restriction of misdemeanors a reason to deny
the wise judge did not agree
seems a iraq-afghnistan vetran know the consitition better than all of rhambo's lawyers did
the judge agree that the law was too vague
my point is this
if the Il.State police think it's fine for this gentelman to have FOID card
how can chicago say no( cant go against state law right?)
they tried to deny on the grounds this guy years ago had a misdomeaor offense of possion of a firearm on a public street with out a card
(i guess back then it was just a ticket)
the other point is if it didn't ruffle the feathers of ispd it must have been fine
so if we go to ccw and make "may have" some yahoo county sheriff might want to deny on grounds of misdomeanors and such or my favorite
"if they likes you"b/s
also chicago still owes NRA a few million for that last case they lost |

I took it that they have to let the guy get a CFP not that they ruled the CFP should be ended. no? |

they threw out the law on the grounds it was too vague
and therefore "unconstitional" so they have to rewrite the law
as the lawyer said they lose and they try to rewrite and lose again:)
that lawyers skill is spent 20% of the time doing constitional law
he knew exactly where to hit them
( he also does civil rights work at about 40% of the time)
so he had them on that too
"as one guy put it you would think for a jewish guy that 's been to isreal
he would aprecciate the reasoning of an armed society"
he lost to the NRA and hasn't paid
he lost to this guy and hasn't paid
he blew big time $ with NRA
and then cries to the press about it we have no $
his lawyers dont care
they get paid if they win or lose
just the taxpayer get's screwed |
