This guy was an empty suit in the last presidential election and he is still one now.

Ron Paul, much as I like him, is unelectable.
I'm hoping that Gov Mitch Daniels gets into the race. He is known as "the blade" for his budget/spending cuts. He is pushing school choice/school vouchers! He signed "Lifetime" carry license law, signed "parking lot carry" law for gun owners, signed "employees gun right/employers can't ask" law for gun owners. . .
He is the real deal! |

that story was dated 2004. Things change with time.
They are ALL empty suits...both sides of the aisle.
Having said that, I don't claim to be Democrat or Republican...but if Romney gets the nomination, and it's him vs O'Bama...guess what?
my vote is going to Romney. |

I thought Obama was unelectable. Ron Paul is more popular now than he was in '08. He I a TRUE CONSTITUTIONALIST.
I'm not ripping on Daniels. I just don't know very much about him. If he's the real deal, I'll back him. Where does he stand on all the military bases all over the world? Where does he stand on the wars? Where does he stand on the UN? Where does he stand on the Fed?
Hopefully these question will be seriously answered by ALL of the runners. |

I apologize for this article being from 2004. It was posted on another message board. I was not aware of that. I will pay more attention in the future. Either way Romney is still the same. Like Whitsend said though, if it's Romney vs. Obama, I'm voting for Romney I guess. I don't think it will be Romney though. I would like to see Mitch Daniels run, but we will see. |

My thoughts exactly melensdad. i like Paul, but if h e cant win a primary for either party he cant win a general. That said, if he wants to run in a primary i hope that he does. I would just hte to see him split the conservative vote in the generl with a third party run. |

He is and always will be a RINO. Convince everyone you can to NEVER vote for him for any political office. He needs to be permanently retired. |

Ok, you probably don't get it. It's that stupid and corny.
My last name is pronounced Bash-e, but it being German it is often mispronounced as Bash-a. Now ya get it? I guess it's lame if I had to explain it. |

You were wrong about Obama and the media crowned him electable while he was still an Illinois Senator in Springfield.
As for Paul. Yes, he is more popular than in 08. He still can't win. He is totally unelectable. I wish I didn't have to say that but it is reality. I like him. I have voted for him. He won't get more than 5% of the votes. |

Mike-
Good post. I didn't know Romney was anti-gun. Scratch him from being electable. I read today that 30% of households in the U.S. own guns. |

Any combination of the following names would be fine with me.
Ann Coulter
Sarah Palin
Ted Nugent
Tom Selleck
Bobby Jindal
Ron Paul
Joe Arpaio
Paul Ryan
Michelle Bachman
Chris Christie
Scott Walker
Rick Santorum
There are a few more I've heard speak before, but I cannot remember their names. |
