Volunteerism

I thought I would make a little thread for volunteerism. We currently have a few volunteers helping with projects here and there. We also have a volunteer or two helping with the website and promotion.

If you're interested in helping out, but don't know what to do, here are some ideas:

Submit News to Our Site: We always need news stories for the front page. These can be links to other stories with the text copied, stories you write yourself, personal stories, story about an event you attended, story about a crime that could have been prevented with firearm self-defense, etc. You can go to Submit News on the left to write the story, paste the story from somewhere else, etc. This helps us a lot!
Submit Event Info to Site Calendar: Illinois and Wisconsin events for the event calendar! Anything, gun show, group shoot, competition, rally, open carry event, fannypack event, etc. Go to Calendar on the left and then Submit Event Info
Represent ICarry.org at Gun Shows:Volunteer to man a booth at a gun show - fun and helpful way to raise awareness for Right to Carry and promote what we're doing at ICarry.org
Promote Us on Other Websites: Spread the word about us on other forums, as long as it doesn't violate their rules. Also, you can contact gun-related websites directly and see if they would be willing to put a link on their website to our website. I can make plain images (white background) of our logo in any size.
Promote us on Facebook today!!!: Join our facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/ICarryorg-Illinois-and-Wisconsin-Concealed-and-Open-Carry-4-Self-Defense/161758242378 and invite all of your friends to join as well. Let's spread the word in Illinois and Wisconsin that Right to Carry is coming!

I talk to people all the time and tell them about the site. If ICarry t-shirts are ever available.., I would DEFINITELY be interested!!!! One more thing to make my socialist apartment manager dislike me.....LOVE IT!!!

Shawn, following the posting of a news story, where would the news story appear? ie on the forum? Thanks
