I'm posting this here because it does involve someone carrying, shaun if it's in the wrong place please feel free to move it...

TRAYVON MARTIN case... whats everyones verdict on this????
i personally feel that zimmerman was not in the right to follow the kid since the watch os supposed to OBSERVE only and was told to walk away. Plus anyone that is in the neighbor hood watch isn't supposed to carry a gun during their watch, for reasons just like this.

Whether or not the kid attacked him, idk, but i feel zimmerman should get some kind of punishment. he said that treyvon attacked him as he was walking back to his car after treyvon had lost him, but he was on the police moments before and said he was following him. it doesnt add up to me.

now the kid is being shown as a child in all of his pictures when he was about 12, since then pictures have risen on the internet of him "thugged out". he was also in trouble at school because he was caught with a baggie with traces of pot in it. Whether or not treyvon was a "gang member" is still unknown but as media always does, they automatically start asking if black people are in gangs when theyre in trouble. I dont know if he was but he still didnt instigate the fight, from original reports.

Zimmerman was also defended by people saying hes not racist because hes part hispanic. Why do you have to be white to be racist??? you could be asian, hispanic, african american, indian, etc. and still not like a certain race, be it a minority or not.

I myself am not racist against anyone. I just don't like those people who walk around with their pants around their knees(with a belt on) and size 3xl shirts on when they weigh 120lbs wet and throw gang signs up all the time and wonder why the "white man" is putting them down. idc if their white, black, arab, etc. I'd more than likely classify them as a "clique" like the popular kids, jocks, emos, etc. but these are Thugs.

Anyways im done rambleing and moving off topic... what are your thoughts on the case???

I would recommend listening to the unedited 911 tape again.
He was not told to not follow or to walk away he was told that is not necessary, that's a huge difference. It's not necessary to wait on a dark remote highway when a good looking woman gets a flat tire and you call AAA but it however might be a good idea if your concerned something else bad could happen. It may not be necessary to follow someone who you believe might be breaking into houses after you call the police however if you want them actually caught...
Like most of the details in this case it's not even clear who approached, I'll leave it for the courts and keep in mind stupidity isn't illegal.

Reseving judgement until all of the evidence is out.

im not saying he shouldnt carry, im just saying, those are the rules for the watch. im just presenting the evidence that i've been told and read.
the watch has those guidelines so that overzealous trigger happy people aren't walking around looking for trouble, which is what the watch does. the man calls the police atleast twice a week last year over crap. you cann tell hes one of those overzealous people.
my two cents anyways

and maybe if he wasnt carrying he wouldve just gotten an butt beating. i mean if someone was following you in the dark what would you think?
maybe the tides would have turned and treyvon would've killed martin, i find that more unlikely than him just gettin an butt beating though. im not saying either of them would have been right in any scenario ive suggested. just throwing out different for instances

Here is some info on the little angel.
http://patdollard.com/2012/03/was-trayvon-martin-a-drug-dealing-gangbanger/ I have looked at all this information separately before this person compiled it. It is verified by several sources. I can't say how much truth there is in it because I don't know em personally. He was tossed from school several times. once for possession of burglary tools and a pile of women jewelry! You won't hear that on the news. couple times for pot. (no big deal to me, i don't see marijuana being any worse than alcohol). He skipped or was suspended more than he attended! You don't carry a gun to be a neighborhood watch person? What kinda a crap is that!! its like asking a cop to patrol with no protection. There are alot of questions. For instance what does a person that is 6' 3" tall and weigh 140 pounds look like? A skeleton? The media has destroyed this case. They HAD to charge him with something to prevent riots. So they overcharged him knowing that they will never get a conviction. On top of that, with florida law, you have to go to a hearing on the "stand your ground" law. Then the judge will deem if he used the law to protect himself. If not then it will go to trial. When the protester show up claim mistrial. I can't see a conviction for this.

if somebody is following you in the dark you try and get away from them confrontation is the last resort

lesson for both of these partys

i can see where carrying while in the watch is good and bad. of course i'm pro carry, otherwise i wouldnt b here. But im just saying i can see where both pros and cons would be for it in this situation

I think the speculation is better held off on this till ALL the facts are presented in court. I've seen a lot of scenario's change after one or two facts have been presented. Absolutely NO ONE can say with 100 % certainty, what another person can or would do, in any type of stressful situation.

It would have been interesting if there was a "bag of booty" lying in the bushes or nearby, it would have thrown this into an entirely different light.

Treyvon Martin got his just desserts! The news media keeps showing a picture of a smooth faced little boy and talking about Skittles candy. BULL !!!!!!! At age 17, Martin was 6'03" and over 200 pounds. He was already sporting gold teeth and multiple tattoos. He had accounts on Facebook and Twitter...until his family's lawyer had the accounts deleted. Before the accounts were deleted, his friends sent messages congratulating him on whipping Zimmerman before Zimmerman shot him. On these accounts, he had photos of himself displaying gang signs. At the time of his justice....er....death., he was on a 10 day suspension from his high school.
Mr Zimmerman should be acquitted and given the key to the city!
Don't let the media fool you or con you into NOT paying attention to the man behind the curtain!!!
