1968 4" colt python
Was a duty weapon for some years, shows some holster wear, which I sort of like actually.
Paid 250 bucks for it,
Just might send her to colt to get re blued.....maybe not though.
Can't wait to shoot her!!
Sorry for the gargantuan picture, uploaded from my cell.... |

Good for you dude! Your a lucky man, the fit and finish on the Python is amazing.
I wish, I could get a hammer spur like that for my GP100, that thing is awesome. |

Good looking revolver, better looking price. Congratulations, you didn't buy that gun, you stole it. Wish I could find deals like that. Just now looking on GB, about the cheapest I could find was a 1957 and it had a lot of the finish gone and it was at $680 with 8 bids and 11 days to go, There are several listed being $1500 and up.
Great gun, I believe you are going to enjoy shooting it. My uncle had one when I was a kid growing up, I don't know what ever happened to it upon his passing, but I would pretty much guess that my aunt or worthless cousin sold it for a fast buck. |

Thanks, he was a 75 year old customer of mine, ex cop...real nice guy.
Started at 450, which I think would have been a steal too....called me a hour later with another question, and said 350...
I say I paid 250 for it, because my wife owed me 100 bucks.....so I guess, in all reality, I paid 350 for it...LOL.
Still not to shabby I think.
The more research I do, it seems the best thing to do, is just leave her as is....and shoot, and enjoy.
A lot of people seem to like some "light duty use marks"....I think it's kinda cool too. |

I agree, I think you stole this gun as well. LOL
I too and looking for a Python at a good price, but any decent ones are going for big bucks.
You got a real deal even at $350.00. I think I hate you |
