I have a good amount of computer equipment for sale. The equipment was purchased in spring of this year, so it is not very old. I was using it for a special project which I'm now done with. So, I've got all this nice equipment to sell. I've sold on craiglist and ebay, but I thought I might as well list it here too
I have full machines (except for hard drive - you must provide your own hard drive). I am also willing to sell piece-by-piece.
Here are the specs:
The motherboards I have are this:
MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
I bought them from Newegg, and they were not used very long. All work
great, one of them was never used even.

Asking: $150
The power supplies are:
Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W ATX 12V v2.3, EPS 12V v2.91
CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active ...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153106
Asking: $100
I also bought them from Newegg. They are great power supplies. I
have used as many as 4 Radeon 5850s running on one of these
motherboards and one of these power supplies, at 100% load, with no
problems. I've been very happy with the PSUs to say the least.
The cases are this:
LIAN LI Lancool PC-K57 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112318
Asking: $50
G.SKILL DDR3 memory = $20 per 2GB
AMD CPU = $30
Radeon 5850 = $120
Radeon 5870 = $160
So you could have a full system (without hard drive or optical drive) for as little as $470. I like these motherboards a lot because they have so many full size PCI Express slots and they're spaced out so that you can use them all. The case also has 8 slots in the back to allow you to use every slot on the motherboard. I picked these cases particularly for that reason. The fact they are made by Lian Li, one of if not the best case companies, is a huge bonus. They are well constructed, well designed, very nice cases.
The best way to reach me is by email sak@icarry.org or call me at 815-986-7974 if you're interested in anything or have questions. Thanks! |

I might be interested in the case. I'm actually rebuilding my gaming computer. Putting in a new 990FX TUFF Asus MoBo and 6core AM3+ CPU. Hoping to run BF3 in ultra instead of my current and sad medium quality. Currently I have a NZXT Apollo but I'm really not thrilled with the wiring management it has.
Have you had any issues running the wires with the bottom mounted PSU? I have only built one system with a bottom mounted PSU and I hated wiring it but I think that was more the case than the mounting placement. I have thought about getting the Corsair 600D cause wow that's just an insanely sweet case, but I think I will do that when I actually build a whole new system.
Ok... see you got my inner geek to come out. So seriously, have you built a system off of this case before? |
