I am not in Naomi Jakobsson's district, but come Monday morning, I will be standing in her Champaign office asking why she voted NO on me being able to protect my family!! She is very liberal, but I always thought that she was a pretty down to earth person that voted how her constituents wanted. Can not understand how ONE PERSON could vote against this bill, but it makes it even worse when, they come from Central IL and know that the majority of their constituents want it!!!

My wife was uncomfortable around guns even after I had her shoot a couple. I then started leaving my Glock 30 on the desk with the main computer in the house. I explained that it won't go off by itself and that the trigger would need to be pulled to fire. She will pick the gun up and move it to the table next to the computer. At least she got over her fear of it going off...

Worse than that, I live in the "judicial hellhole" of St. Clair county (East St. Louis). Only place lower is "Crook County".

I live in Peoria county and I had to thank my Rep. Jehan Gordon for voting YES and fighting for my constitutional rights. I'm sure that when its time again ... she will do the same thing and fight for any rights the State of Illinois has taken from us

Did someone put up here a link to a photo of the board showing all the reps votes yes, no and didn't vote indicated by the color of lights on the house "voting board"? It was on my computer and now has vanished. Maybe it was linked from another site.
