Has anyone tried this holster? What do you think versus the Crossbreed? |

This looks identical to the crossbreed. I do love my crossbreed. |

I just received the holster less than a week after ordering it. It comes with Black metal clips. I also ordered "C" clips which are made of Kydex.
It is soft and very comfortable. With just a thin T-shirt tucked in, it was invisible. |

I just bought one of these for my compact 1911 on my last trip to cabelas. $50 plus tax. I'm new to the whole holster thing, IWB, anything to be honest. With that being saif I wore it around the house to break it in and get a feel for it. It seems very comfortable to wear, and coneals the gun great under casual clothing (untucked longsleeve tshirt). I havent tried it with anything else. The gun holsters great, but its a pain in the but to draw, its near impossible without using 2 hands othewrwise it just wants to pull up my pants. I am not sure if it needs to be broken in more or if I am doing something wrong in the draw. I few times by pulling out more or something i did it came out with more ease but I try to duplicate it and then its locked in again like its glued to the holster. |

It shouldn't be difficult to remove, but it also shouldn't just fall out either. Is it made for the gun or just a general holster? If its pulling your pants up you might need to just tighten your belt one more loop. |

No its made for the gun, its a perfect "snap in" fit, and comes out without too much effort when i'm not wearign the holster.....but when wearing it it seems bacause the belt comes across very close to where the retension is on the gun, it makes it that much tighter....i might have top play with the extect spot where i'm wearign it plus i can adjust where it rides up and down. Also just pulling at the right angle seems to help, i think like anythign it takes parctice.
Well made holster though. |

Stick to Crossbreed.. For a few more bucks, get something that has been proven... Just my 2 cents worth. |

Try The Holster Store at http://theholsterstore.net about $50. For about $85 and up try High Noon Holsters. Takes about a week from both, but they are a very good quality. |
