I couldn't think anything could survive what this guy did to his gun..
Absolutely amazing..

OK.. I lied.. I've wanted a Glock for years. This, and a recent day shooting one have me thinking about pawning off my .40 Sigma..

Those things are built "Ford tough" Shocked

I can't ever imagine any of my firearms taking that kind of torture. They would have been great guns for WWI and II.

Seeing as the original torture test link was broken, I found this torture test to be insane. I am considering a Hi Point torture test of equal or greater audacity to test their lifetime warranty out.

I would love to test my Sig 226. But im not. I'll let someone else test em'. I've put about 500 rounds through my baby and she hasn't let me down once. There was a stove pipe jam once when my uncle was shooting it, but i know he was limp wristing it or something to that matter. It was his first time shooting a handgun. He only has rifles and shotguns.

Tests on Sigs were done I suspect you could find the stuff on the Sig Forum, tossed from buildings and all. There were many guns tested that needed a safety, Sigs never fired in the test. Things are different nowadays because of liability concerns and even if they aren't needed they have them but I loved the old motto for not having a safety. If you don't want it to fire don't pull the trigger.

I don't think I have a Sig (and I have a LOT of them) that doesn't have at least 500 rounds through it, never had a problem. Also you hear a lot of keeping mags loaded.
One of my inside (home defense) guns I have a P225 in a hand safe that I've had mags loaded for 15+ years. I take it out occasionally shoot it load it back up and stuff it back, never an issue.
