Yep,they asked me the same thing. I asked what difference does it make? He said I had to be 21 to buy hand gun ammo. I said, son,do I look under 21? (I'm 52) He said no. I said why even ask me a stupid question like that!! Confused

Probably the same reason they won't sell me alcohol without providing my ID.

I'm 52 right now!

They asked my dad (71) for ID to buy spray paint. He told them to go to hell.

Everybody wants to see ID for everything these days. If you pay with a check.., then in the memo part just write Marijuana.

With a legit license I mean.....lol, not one from a captain crunch box.

My dad thought it best to start teaching me early. I drove alone on I-90 when 15.

Where I grew up everyone drove alone starting at age 14.., when they got their learners permit. Everyone obtained their "learners" as soon as they turned 14. It was one more step towards adulthood.

Well, that's one word for it. Unfortunately.., when many of our laws were concocted by the legislature, common sense never came into play.

I ALWAYS put in the memo part of the check "Sexual Favors"

Too bad we need to show our ID for everything except voting! I'm not too eager to show my ID any more unless there is a pretty good reason for showing it. After all, that's the first step in someone stealing your identity!

Need ID to buy Nyquil??? My home state (Arkansas) still has it's "blue laws" and Beer/liquor is not sold on Sundays. I used to work with a guy who would buy a lot of Nyquil on Sundays to get drunk. I have drank more than my share in earlier life, but I NEVER sunk to drinking cough medicine or Dr. Tichenors.

You know how Wal-Marts are returning your checks to you now and having you sign that LCD screen?
Twisted Evil I have yet to sign my name. I usually put "Drop Dead", Go to Hxxx", or "Fxxx You".

If I had wanted electronic access to my checking account, I would have had a debit card years ago.

I still don't have one (and never will!).
