I too OC and CC at home, all the time. If I plan on drinking heavily then I'll put it away but other than that, I'm always armed. Putting up Christmas lights, mowing, watching my kids play in the yard, whatever, I'm armed. |

Guys, I'm not trying to talk you out of going for your Utah permit, but if you hunt, and/or have taken the "approved" Illinois "hunter safety" course and have the Illinois Hunter Safety Card, that qualifies as TRAINING for the Florida permit. That's what I did for my Florida permit to carry. I don't know if it would qualify for Utah.
Aren't the Florida and Utah permits about the same as being honored by other states??? |

You can skip the training for FL if you are a veteran. It's still too expensive for me to get now.
Conceal Carry School is on Spike. Since I don't have cable, I watch it online. |

You mean since I'm a veteran, I don't need to take the Florida CCW class to carry i Florida? |

Go get a PA permit then it's only $26. However, you have to HURRY! The law is changing there.
BTW - why haven't I changed my picture back from this one yet? |

I sure don't know. This avatar actually, IMHO, is less creepy looking than your other one. |

Screw you guys, I'm going home.
I just read in the NRA magazine First Freedom about a few home invasions. Two of them were during the evening hours, after 5, but before 10, and groups of men kicked in the door to attack the home owner. One was a mistake, the men were looking for someone that didn't live there. The other was just a group robbing homes. Both groups were armed. In both circumstances the homeowner defended their family.
THAT is why I carry at home. You never know when trouble will come a calling. |

THooker..........both of your recent avatar pix look "posed" and un-natural IMHO. Your current one................... with the cheesy mustache, looks like the one all the guys grow after "basic training"!!!!! All of my relatives had/grew the same cheesy mustache once they got deployed after basics!!!! Enough said there!!! Your earlier avatar ( without the mustache, but with the evil smile) just makes you look creepy. Can you say child molester creepy??? I know you're not a CM, but the posing and the smile doesn't "look right", "look natural", "look normal".................don't wanna piss you off, but it is, what it is!!!!! Sorry my friend.
And I hope I'm your friend for being stupid/ballzie enough to tell you this!! |

Holy crap!
It was a picture of me at my best friend's wedding rehersal. I guess that my genuine smile is creepy. Well, time to wear dirty shirts and drive a conversion van.
What was the topic here again? Oh yeah, I carry to protect my family. |
