Next time you run into some idiot saying that gun registration is a reasonable measure, remind them that the U.S. Supreme court has ruled that a felon is protected under the 5th amendment from registering an illegal firearm. No joke.

I bet there's tons of cases like this you never hear about and they're just out there waiting to be found.
