I know it's a few months away yet but, I Just got everything in order for the spring clean-up. There are 2 locations, only a few miles from each other. Both are right on Hwy 14 in Janesville. One is from Hwy 51 to Kennedy Rd, a distance of about 1.46 miles. Runs right in front of the Sheriffs Dept/County Jail. Lots of Attention!!! The other is from C.H. MM to C.H. O, with a distance of 1.28 miles. Looking for sometime in April. Any Suggestive dates? Who is interested? |

Not sure why, but she said I couldn't put both names on both signs... So I put one on each. But both groups are posted. Looking forward to the spring cleanup. My first actually... |

I should probably ask, can someone summarize the Wisconsin law, at least at it pertains to the clean up. If not, could you provide a link to the law?
I don't know if open carry means one in the chamber, loaded mag, or completely unloaded. What's the deal with driving to the site etc....

Open Carry means loaded and holstered. Don't remove from holster unless you're unloading to get in a car or you have to use your firearm for self-defense.
- Can't carry within 1,000 ft of any school
- Can't carry while in a car (you must unloaded, encase, and put the case out of reach if possible
- Can't carry in an establishment that serves liquor
- I'm probably forgetting something so read the above link
You never noticed the chick on the home page of the site with the carry guides Her head is cut off but still...it's noticeable unless you're a corpse |

As for Parking, My Parents actually live right on the corner of Hwy 14 and Kennedy rd, right were our Cleanup starts/end. There is a large empty Lot at the top of their driveway. There will be plenty of parking room there.
As for the other Stretch, I will drive by and take a look and see what there is.
If anyone is Interested, a BBQ might be good. Give everyone a chance to meet one another, Spend a little more time in the publc eye, and get some grub before we hit the smaller stretch. My Parents have a large grill I could use.
Maybe we can put together an Informative poster to stake in the ground in front of our vehicles as we do our clean-up/BBQ. Let passing cars know a
little about what is going on, and what we're about.
A month or so before we do our cleanup, I will inform the Janesville Police Dept of what we will be doing. I would rather avoid any Misinformed Confrontations... |

Sounds great. I can't wait. If only there was open carry skiing....since that is mainly why I am up in WI during the winter. |

On second thought, We might go to Riverside Park. Its Right on the river (Hence the name). Very nice, clean, well kept. There is a Pavillion with a large shelter and Picnic tables, There are several grilles built on stands right into the ground. Play Area for kids, Bathrooms, water fountain. There is a Barrier closing off the far end of the park to vehicles, but pedestrians are still allowed there. They open it in the spring, But the gate should be open by then though. At the Far end, there are basketball courts, baseball diamond, another pavillion with shelter and tables. Very, very nice... And No schools nearby! |

that's hilarious, I think you're the first person to register a new account to use a new name. Does your previous name actually work for the ladies? I'm married so I don't get to flirt on the Internet as much as I'd like to |

Haha, for the most part, yeah I think they respond a little better to it than some of the names you see out there. But I too have a G/f, we have been together for 3 yrs now and have a lil girl. So I cant "Flirt"... lol But She says I do, But I dont think so. ... I had a funny thought of people thinking "Hey Look, Prettyboy put up a new thread... Did he paint his nails then Strap on a Gun??" Hahaha....Sweetguy had to go...No need to fear, Gunguy is here. |

Quick question... Would an Illinois resident be allowed to open carry in WI? I would assume so. Just to avoid hassle for the IL members here if they were to attend one of these clean-ups. |
