I normally don't wish people harm, but if the SCOTUS shoots down little King Dick's gun bans and he has a coronary at the podium, I'd probably die laughing. |

Oh they can and I hope they do... I'll drive through Chicago with one in the trunk just to celebrate! I may even OC it! |

I guess there is an exception to every rule...
I really don't think that Chicago has a snowball's chance in Satan's pants. I am predicting the licensing aspect will be allowed to stand, but they will be forced to actually grant them to qualified individuals. I bet they will be cost prohibitive though, and could see another lawsuit in the future. It will be an interesting series of events to watch, that much is for sure. |

Hey exactly what information is required for the giveaway? On the requirements at the bottom it says name, state, zip, and email address, but it also says address other places. I just want to make sure that I'm all good before midnight. |

This first time around I'll probably be a little understanding if someone missed some of the info. This month I'll just require name, state, and zip. But that needs to be full name.
Starting from now on it'll be name, address, state, zip. |

Everyone take note of who is helping the Right to Carry by donating guns for the monthly drawing.
So far we have:
Bullet Stop Gun Shop - discount on a new gun, free FFL transfer
The Outdoorsman Shop - Winthrop Harbor, IL - free FFL transfer
Armalite, Inc. - discount on a new gun
GLOCK, INC - FULL SPONSORSHIP OF A FREE GUN!!!
This info will be added somewhere special in the future. But for now simply take note. Who's got our back and supports right to carry? I know who's next on my list for a gun purchase... |

To be completely honest, Glock's generous donation has actually made me more interested in their products. I started looking at which one I would pick up if I won it and I'm considering them for my .45 |

Ya know, in light of Glock's generosity here, I'll take a second look at a few of their pistols. I have a funny feeling that Santy Claus is gonna be nice to me this year |

I own two Glocks and I love them. I have the G21, the full size .45acp pistol, and a G19, the compact 9mm.
I personally like how wide they are because it fits my hands well. |

whenever a new gun is up for the month, what if we posted a picture of it here, or somewhere, complete with some specs to accompany it? i know its just a quick jump to the manufacturer's page and all my questions would be answered. and i hope in time i could just pull from my memory the mag cap and barrel length of, say, a P95, but until then, i think it would add to the "ohh!?, this could all be mine!?" factor of the giveaway.
just a thought.
(if this is already being done, my apologies, guess I've overlooked it.) |

That's a good idea, mitch. We had planned on doing that, but with 1,000 other things in the works it got overlooked
Perhaps a single thread that is locked (to keep it from getting 20 pages long) with each post being that month's gun with pictures and info? |

I haven't seen one yet, but I might have deleted it if I didn't realize it was for the drawing. I think sometimes the emails are about other things, but they have the drawing entry towards the bottom. |
