Hey guys,

I talked to Mac McWilliams today, and we want to start something and support a candidate up north here. Mac's from down south, but he's still gonna help out and help us get goin and even come up here when he can.

We've got A LOT of people on our websites and a lot of members up north here. From Rockford to Chicago. We need to find a candidate in the northeastern part of the state. A good pro-gun candidate we can trust. Someone who's challenging an anti-gun democrat, anti-gun republican, OR fence-sitter. Even if it's someone who's not really our enemy (like some of the republicans up here), but not our friend either. Let's get them out. It'll send a strong message and we can have an ally in their place.

So we're going to go to bat starting with 1 person. Next election maybe we can handle more. Maybe we'll be organized and we can do grassroots all over the state. Who knows. But for now we start with one. And we PUT them in place. We get on the ground, donate money, go door to door, talk on the phone, flyers, whatever it takes. We PUT them in the seat for that district.

We'll need some help and volunteers. Right now we need to find that deserving candidate. If you can help us do some research and come up with some people and then narrow it down, we'd appreciate it! Let's get this going and accomplish something we can be proud of.
